Halfway through this sketch I had to scramble down the rockweed-covered rocks to refill the tank on my watercolor brush-pen.
That's my sister, Alice, looking toward Peak's Island on a late afternoon last week.
Coreids are also called leaf-footed bugs (note the flared/flattened hind legs, which are supposed to look like leaves).

This marks my first attempt at using a watercolor brush pen, a paintbrush with its own squeezable water supply in the handle. The jury is still out on whether it's a convenience or an impediment.
